Esther Kuebler Obituary

Esther J. Kuebler, age 81 formerly of Arlington and Jordan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on October 26, 2020. Esther was born in Grand Forks, ND on May 29, 1939; the first of six daughters born to Stephen and Margaret (Giese) Dostal. Esther graduated from Manvel High School and Aakers Business College. She married George Kuebler on August 12, 1960 in Fort Dodge, IA. They lived in Jordan for thirty years before moving to Arlington in 1994. She was a homemaker and loved to sew, garden, bake and spend time with family. She was actively involved in the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Peace Lutheran Church and the Guild.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sisters, Gail Garner and Cheryl Petek. She is survived by children, Jan (Doug) Lake, Steve (Shelly), Teri (Jay) North, and Tom (Kymberly); grandchildren, Brenda, Matt (Cassey), Andie, David, Eli, and Ben; great-grandchildren, Lennon and Myla; sisters, Karen (Bob) Devlin, Judy Schneider, and Luane Helen; numerous nieces and nephews; honorary grandchildren, Chelsie, Sara and Shelby; and many close friends.

At Esther’s request, a public graveside memorial service will be held at the Arlington Public Cemetery on November 2 at 2:00 p.m. Please bring a chair and a mask. Social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church of Arlington.
