Eunice Everett, age 88 of Cleveland, died on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 at the Carriage House in Le Center. Graveside services will be on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Ottawa Cemetery, Ottawa, MN. Pastor Terri Horn will officiate the services.
Eunice was born on November 28, 1931 in Ottawa, MN to Phillip and Margarett K. (Roche) Meservey. She grew up in the Ottawa area and attended and graduated with honors from Le Sueur High School. She attended the Minnesota School of Business and later worked with an insurance company in Minneapolis before she was married. She married Donald Everett on Lake Minnetonka in 1951. The couple farmed and raised their family in Cleveland Township, Le Sueur County their entire lives. She was a member of the Le Sueur Bird Club, long time Sunday and Bible School teacher with the Cleveland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, her garden and all the “critters” on the farm.
She is survived by her children; Mabel “Meg” (Mike) Lawrence of Cleveland, MN, Patrick (Bev) Everett of Cleveland, MN and Linda Bloom. Six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2014 and granddaughter, Sara Glancy in 2019, son-in-law, William Bloom.
