Fredric C. Bullert, age 68 of Gaylord passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Hennepin Health in Minneapolis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 7th at Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time Tuesday at the church. Interment will be at a later date in Arlington Public Cemetery.
Fredric Charles Bullert was born on March 23, 1953 in Glencoe, the son of Harold and Verdella (Ide) Bullert. He was baptized on April 19, 1953 at First Lutheran Church in Glencoe and confirmed on March 19, 1967 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. Fred was a 1971 graduate of Arlington-Green Isle High School. On September 27, 1986 Fred was united in marriage to Maureen Ryan. They were blessed with one child, their daughter Bridget. He held down various jobs over the years. Fred helped on the family farm, worked for Goetsch mink farm as well as for Locher Brothers and Zumbro River Brand. Fred was an avid outdoorsman enjoying such activities as hunting and fishing. He liked to golf and bowl with friends and family. Fred also volunteered his time driving local royalty around in his orange convertible. He enjoyed visiting with people and will be remembered by his daughter for the nature walks in the woods and the morel mushroom hunts.
Fredric is survived by his wife Maureen, daughter Bridget, siblings; Betty (Dennis) Tuchtenhagen, Jan Heldberg, Brian (Pam) Bullert, Craig (Linnea) Bullert, many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Verdella Bullert, parents-in-law; Joe and Rita Ryan, brother; DuWayne Bullert, brothers-in-law; Mike Ryan and Don Heldberg, nephews; Adam Bullert and Jason Ryan.
