Gerold D. Shepherd, (Gary) age 71 of St. Paul, died on Friday, April 24, 2020 at The Estates of Excelsior. Due to the restrictions with the CDC and Dept. of Health, services will be family only due to the limited attendance, (Burial at Brown Cemetery, Henderson, MN)...

Gary was born on August 23, 1948 in Ohio to Norman and Rena (Nielson) Shepherd. He moved to Minnesota and later married Kathy Higgins and the couple lived in St. Paul for many years with their beloved pups Blackie and Buddy. Gary worked road construction and black topping. He enjoyed spending time with Kathy walking by the river with their dogs while taking advantage of Minnesota’s beautiful summers.

He is survived by his siblings; Norma (Frank) Stimpson of Indiana, Sharon (Bob) Berndt of St. James, Roxanna Knowles of Minnetrista, MN and Terry (Debbie) Shepherd of Belle Plaine, MN. Many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy in 2019. Be at peace Gary you will be missed
