Ivan Schultz Obituary
Ivan Henry Schultz age 73 of St. Peter, Minnesota died on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Ivan was born at home to Henry and Hilda Henrietta (Malz) Schultz on May 16, 1947 in Sibley County, MN . He grew up in the Le Sueur area and graduated from Le Sueur High School. For many years, Ivan managed the family truck farm. After farming, Ivan retired to St. Peter where he actively pursued ministries. Ivan enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially gardening.
Ivan is survived by his niece, Heidi (Todd) Johnson of Brooklyn Park, MN; nephew, Peter (Lisa) Lambert of S. St. Paul, MN as well as grand-nephew and nieces Logan and Emily Johnson, Paulette Lambert, and sister-in-law Diane L. Lambert. Also survived by many loving distant relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and half-brother, Myron Schultz.
Funeral services will be Sunday, 1:00 p.m. at Sunrise Church in St. Peter, MN. Visitation/lunch will be at the church gymnasium from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Private burial will be on Monday at Brown Cemetery, Henderson, MN. Memorials are preferred to Royal Family Kids Camp. Masks and distancing will be required.
