Jacob “Jake” Thomas Kayser, age 43 of Belle Plaine, passed away on July 28, 2022, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
Jake was born in Algona, IA on October 12, 1978, to Thomas and Donna Kayser. He grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur-Henderson High School in 1997. He worked as a journeyman electrician in commercial and residential construction. On November 28, 2008, he married the love of his life, Amy Bluml on the beach in Jamaica surrounded by family and friends.
Jake was always on the go. Enjoying things like pheasant hunting with his dogs, camping on weekends with friends, winning pool tournaments, cooking for his whole family on Thanksgiving, watching and quoting movies, and most of all spending time with Amy and their dogs.
He loved playing practical jokes on his nieces and nephews to make them laugh, he was not afraid to make his opinion known, he selflessly lent a hand to anyone who needed it, he prided himself on doing any job to perfection, and he loved deeply, ending every conversation with Amy saying, “I love you more, Honey.”
Jake is preceded in death by his Grandpa and Grandma, Floyd & Ruby Carlson, Grandpa, Albin Kayser, and Nephew, Nicholas Brunskill.
He is survived by his wife, Amy, parents, Thomas (Kim) Kayser and Donna Kayser, sister, Heather (Justine) Kayser, niece Megan (Bret), nephew, Jackson, brother, Jordan (Clara) Kayser, sister, Danielle (Matt) Roehler, Grandma, Helen Kayser, sister-in-law, Burke (Craig) Lippert, niece, Rozlyn, nephew, Brock, and several very special in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
