James Solheid, age 63 passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 17th at Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church in Belle Plaine. Fr. Michael Kaluza will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, May 16th from 4-7 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday morning. Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Belle Plaine.
Jim was born in New Prague on May 5, 1958 to LeRoy and Loretta (Breeggemann-Klehr) Solheid. He grew up in Belle Plaine and graduated from Belle Plaine High School. Jim worked various jobs over the years, most recently as a forklift driver at Cambria.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Cindy Laabs-Denzer, brother, Ted Klehr and sister, Rosie Klehr.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Richard (Anna) Solheid, Leander (Sherry) Solheid, and Elizabeth (Glenn) Baird. Children, Joshua Denzer, Laura (Jared) Denzer-Suel, and Stephanie (Chris) Denzer. Grandchildren, Noah, Danny and Logan, Sisters-in-law, Ann (Harry) Thiewes and Kristi (Les) Zellman, Brother-in-law, Mark Laabs, and many loving nieces and nephews.
