Jose Perez Ramirez Obituary

Jose Angel Perez Ramirez of Reynosa Tamaluipas died on April 1st, 2021. He lived his young an adolescence life in Mission Tx. In the 1989 he moved to Mankato Mn to continue his studies and made many new friends. Eventually getting a job and meeting many dear friends at ADC in Le Sueur.  He died of complications from a radioactive spider bite that led to years of crime fighting. Civilians will recognize him as Spiderman and thank him for his many years in service protecting our city. His family and friends will know him as Joe, Jose, Jos-B, Uncle Jo-Jo and Pepe. He was an easy going, kind, generous and loving person his larger than life persona and his cannabis connoisseur trademark will never be forgotten. Although a less than average life span, Joe did not live an average life. He surrounded himself with an assortment of fun friends, for fun times and a bevy of beauties. He was a Beatlemaniac and a music of all genres aficionado.

His devout stubbornness had served him well throughout his life and even in his waning months he was a model of strong will and sheer determination, right up until the end of his journey here on earth. His spirit was released from his worn out shell of a body and is now exploring the universe.

There will be no viewing since his sister refuses to honor his wish to have him sitting on a recliner watching the Vikings game wearing his Viking jersey and horns while smoking a “cig” to appear natural to visitors.

He was a devoted Uncle and a beloved brother but sometimes a hard-headed son. He fondly reminisced about all his good friends, good smoke, good drinks and good times at the Green Mill in Le Sueur. His regrets were few but include not training his moms dogs to detect cancer that would have saved her life.  Not washing out his sisters mouth with soap after she blurted out the first swear word. Not taking care of his diabetes to be able to spend more time with his niece and nephew. But the Biggest regret is that there is no video evidence of his fabulous John Travolta dancing moves or his prowess in the bedroom.

He is survived by his father Jose N. Perez, his sister Hania Olsson, his niece Angelique and nephew David and a shipload of cousins. Cremation will take place at the family’s convenience and his ashes will be scattered in the gulf of Mexico where he will be joining his mother

Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate Joses life in their own way. Raising a glass of their favorite drink or a puff of smoke in his memory would be quite appropriate. Instead of flowers, Joe would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some unfortunate soul in his name.
