Larry Bahr

Larry Bahr, age 78 of Montgomery and formerly of Belle Plaine, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 9, 2021.  Memorial Visitation will be from 4-7p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Vet’s Club in Belle Plaine.  Interment with Military Honors will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Belle Plaine.

Larry was born in Hector, Minnesota on February 1, 1943 to Leonard and Dorothy (Ulrich) Bahr.  He grew up in Buffalo Lake and graduated from Buffalo Lake High School.  He proudly served his Country in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1968.  Larry worked for the Super Valu warehouse in Hopkins for over 25 years.  He was a member of the American Legion, and AA for 39 years.  He loved hunting, fishing and attending his sons and grandchildren’s sporting events.  Larry is preceded in death by his parents and son, Jerome in 1982.

Larry is survived by his sons, Joel (Lisa) of Belle Plaine, Jeff (Michelle) of Belle Plaine, Aaron (Rachel) of New Prague and Adrian (Mary) of Belle Plaine.  Grandchildren, Alexandra, Zachary, Austen, Montana, Colton, Emma, Isabel, Darrius, Tyler and Bailey.  Brothers, Darwin, Ken and Ron.  Many nieces and nephews.
