Linda L. (Pearson) O'Malley

 Linda L. (Pearson) O'Malley, age 70 of St.Peter formerly of Mapleton died on September 8, 2023.  Visitation will be on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. ~ 7:00 p.m. at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur.  Visitation will conclude with a prayer service.  Burial will be private in Mound Cemetery, Le Sueur, MN. 

Linda was born on October 8, 1952 to Charles “Bud” & Elaine (Reinhardt) Pearson in Mankato, MN.  She grew up in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School in 1971.  She worked with O’Malley Floors and Pearson Draperies for over 25 years, and loved both working with her father and helping people design their living spaces.  She later worked for Rickway Carpet as a sales associate for 14 years until she retired.  She was previously married to Steve O’Malley and then later divorced. She enjoyed playing the piano, sewing, card club, and camping with family. She was affectionately known as “game grandma” as she was always up a hand of cards, or board game with the grand-kids. 

She is survived by her children; Kristy (Kipp) Dubow of Tacoma, Washington; Tim (Prycilla) O’Malley of Mankto, MN and Ryan O’Malley.  Grandchildren; Lillian, Levi and Louis Dubow and Taylor and Mason O’Malley.  

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Rick Pearson.
