Micah Matthew Smith, 40, was called back to the Creator on October 18, 2020. Micah was born on May 8, 1980 to Curtis and Beth Smith. Micah graduated from Shoshone Bannock Jr/Sr High School in 1999 after spending his high school years excelling academically and athletically in basketball, football and track. Highlights of Micah’s athletic career included: winning the state championship A-4 Boys Shot Put at the Idaho State Track Meet in 1998 and again in 1999 while setting a new A-4 record. After high school, Micah eventually settled in Minnesota.
Micah enjoyed gaming, fishing, listening to music and spending time with his family. Micah lived life on the slow track taking one day at a time. Micah leaves behind many who have been touched by his humor, his love, his kindness and his gentle spirit.
Micah is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Wayne Smith.
Micah is survived by his mother and stepfather, Beth Smith and Jay Barr of North Port, Florida; siblings, Christine (Fred) Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Ashley (Thomas) Samora, and Lindsey (Rick) Dhaene both of Le Sueur; his “brothers from another mother”, Ethan Tendore of Fort Hall, Idaho and George (Ana) Esquival of Le Sueur; and nieces and nephews, Deanna Smith and Jacob Ramirez of Dallas, Texas, Talen, Shaelynn, Micahya, Kiana, Kyla, and Marcelina Samora, Madison and Mitchell Dhaene all of Le Sueur.
