Michael "Mike" Barry

Michael “Mike” Barry, age 71 of Arlington and formerly of Glencoe passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Bayside Manor in Gaylord. A Celebration of Life will be observed by a come-and-go gathering of family and friends between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4th at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington.

Mike was born on July 18, 1951 in Glencoe, the son of Thomas and Phyllis (Luke) Barry. After graduation from high school, Mike continued his education at a Technical College. Mike worked at Hutchinson Technology as a tool room supervisor. He liked the outdoors and listening to music. Mike was a one of a kind guy with a sharp sense of humor. Those who knew him can tell you he had an impeccable attention to detail, he was a craftsmen and loved building things, especially out of wood. He was an engineer and his passion was just that. He liked to listen to music and soak up the outdoors to enjoy some beautiful weather.

Mike is survived by his wife; Rosie Barry of Arlington, sons; Greg, Joe, Tim and Tony, his siblings; Colleen (Larry) Malecha, Shannon (Tim) Hahn, Katie (Joel) Ide, Jackie Iten, Jeri (Tom) Platz, Thomas (Cyanna) Barry, Patrick Barry, Kelly (Beverly) Barry, Daniel Barry, and Kevin (Debra) Barry, 15 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, nieces; Shauna Barry Carter and Amanda Taylor, cousin; Pete Iten.
