Obituary
Otto Pries, age 79 of Belle Plaine, passed away on March 6, 2023 at his home in Belle Plaine. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Belle Plaine. Interment with Military Rites will be at 9:30a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Otto was born on February 20, 1944 in Wurzburg, Germany to Harlan and Anni (Pleinert) Pries. He grew up in Canby, MN and his family moved to Belle Plaine in 1957. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1965-1971. Otto owned and operated the Little Brown Jug liquor store in Belle Plaine which he opened in 1975 and closed in 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Otto is survived by his son, Mark.
