Roger D. Robeck, age 69 of Arlington, went to his eternal home in heaven on Sunday, August 8, 2021, after a brief but aggressive bout with cancer. He died at his home in Phoenix, AZ with his family by his side. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26th from 4-8 pm at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington. There will be a private interment at the Arlington Public Cemetery by invitation only.
Roger was born on December 3, 1951, to Matthew and Orma (Brockoff) Robeck in Glencoe, MN. He married Barbara Haus on September 26,1970 at Arlington United Methodist Church in Arlington. They continued to live in Arlington where they raised their family until relocating to Arizona immediately prior to his death. Roger worked passionately as an automobile detailer for various local car dealerships over the years. He enjoyed coffee with friends, tinkering in the garage, and classic cars. Roger was a friend and neighbor who would give you the shirt off his back and do anything he could to help you out. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Barbara; daughter Rhonda (John) Novak of Wilhoit, AZ; grandchildren Samantha Seefeld of Phoenix, AZ and Ashley Robeck of Tuttle, OK; mother Orma Menk of Arlington, and other relatives and friends.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Matthew Robeck, stepfather Alton Menk, father-in-law Charles Haus, mother-in-law Margaret Hoffman, son Steven Robeck and brothers-in-law Loran Haus, Burl Haus, and Eugene “Poncho” Lawrence.
