Samuel J. Clark

Samuel Jeffrey Clark, age 60, of Le Sueur, MN passed away unexpectedly due to an accidental drowning in Superior, WI on Tuesday, August 30, 2022.  

Sam loved his family and friends and was always willing to listen and give advice when needed. He was a world traveler, connoisseur of great food and wine, with an unlimited passion for sailing. Sam found fulfilment in his career and relationships with colleagues.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Shirley Clark and his daughter Abigail.  He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Monica and his sons Andrew and Matthew; step-mother, Ann Clark, brother David Clark (Sarah), sister Marguerite Clark, aunt Linda Schwartz; Mother-in-law, Vida Lanari; cousins Sara Flowers and Brian Holmes and many other beloved family and friends around the country and world.  

We will celebrate his life on Sunday, September 18th from 5:30pm – 8:30pm at The Next Chapter Winey in New Prague, MN. He will be interned at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Peter, MN. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be distributed at a later date to causes important to Sam.
