Susan Boisjolie Obituary

Susan Matilda Boisjolie (Schwegel) was born on 02/08/1952 to Eugene and Olivia (Ressemann) Schwegel in Collegeville, MN.  She passed away peacefully at her home in Le Sueur on 12/28/2020. Services will be at a later time.

Susan graduated from Central Casselton High School in Casselton, ND in 1970.

Susan married the love of her life Mark George Boisjolie shortly after High School.  Being a mother was one of her biggest joys in life.  She happily took on the role of home maker.  The only thing that made her happier than being a mother was once she became a grandmother.  She loved taking part in any activities that her grandchildren would let her be part of and loved watching them grow.  She was always so proud of all of their achievements.  Susan loved crafting.  For years she made pot holders, dish rags, and hand towels for so many people.  She had recently started making quilts for her grandchildren.  Susan loved to go to Bingo, meat raffles, coffee at Hillside Courts, or rodeos but the most important thing to her was always spending time with family and friends.

Susan is survived by her son Paul (Vanessa) Boisjolie of St. Cloud, son Chad Boisjolie of Le Sueur, daughter Joyce (Chris) Lembcke of Waite Park, and 9 grandchildren Elizabeth Boisjolie, Emma Boisjolie, Mark Boisjolie, Brady Boisjolie, Hunter Lembcke, Ty Boisjolie, Hayden Boisjolie, Honor Lembcke and Isabella Lembcke.  She is also survived by her sisters Pauline Stein, Betty Walz, Veronica Gill, Helen Williams and her brothers John Schwegel, Joe Schwegel, Charlie Schwegel, and Alvin Schwegel.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Olivia Schwegel, her husband Mark Boisjolie, her daughter-in-law Jodi Boisjolie, her siblings Jeanette, Gene Schwegel, and Esther Langner.
