Obituary
Tammy Ann Westphal, age 53 of Belle Plaine, formerly of Chaska and Prior Lake, passed away on March 23, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee, MN. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Pastor Martin Bentz will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 to 11 A.M. Lunch to follow services. Burial will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Tammy was born on November 1, 1969 to John and Jan (Olson) Westphal. She grew up in Chaska and Prior Lake area before graduating from Jordan High School in 1991. She participated in peace work at the mall in Shakopee and moved to The Lutheran Home In Belle Plaine on June 29, 2022. Tammy enjoyed coming home to see her parents for vacation when she lived in Lindstrom and North Branch group home, she also loved shopping, music, her friends and family, singing, dancing and make-up.
Tammy is survived by her parents, John and Jan Westphal of New Prague, MN, her brother, Eric (Tina) Westphal of Silt, CO, nephews, Mitchell and Colton Westphal, grandma Lila Olson of Foster City, CA, and many aunts & uncles.
